Meet the Maker
Thistle Island Candles are all handmade by me, Joanne. I have always had a passion to create and craft. Candle making began as a hobby for me around seven years ago then at the beginning of 2020 I decided to rebrand my business and that's when Thistle Island was born.
Thistle Island Products
My Thistle Island brand has a range of handmade products (candles, reed diffusers and wax melts) all made in a range of scents. Sustainability and simple design were the main ideas behind our products.

Location
It all began in 2020 from my kitchen, since then I moved onto working from our wonderful gift shop and candle studio in Kirkcaldy for three years. Today, you will find me in my beautiful workshop located by the sea in East Wemyss - a peaceful and inspiring space where I can really get creative with the brand.
